Dr. George T. Conrad, MD, FACS, was born in Chicago, Illinois, and is a proud graduate of Northwestern University. He earned his medical degree from Rush University and completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Howard University. Dr. Conrad further advanced his expertise by completing a Research Fellowship in Endocrine Surgery with a focus on Thyroid Cancer at Johns Hopkins University.

With 20 years of experience in general surgery, Dr. Conrad is the founder of Capitol Surgeons, a private practice in Silver Spring, MD, where he has been dedicated to serving the community ever since. He also holds prominent leadership positions as the Director of Acute Care Surgery at Holy Cross Hospital and Holy Cross Germantown Hospital, as well as the Chief of the Division of General Surgery at Holy Cross Hospital.
